My Career Development to Jackson's Garden Services by Robert Jackson
I am Robert Jackson, proprietor and founder of Jackson's Garden Services. My working life has been one of commitment and ongoing development that brought this company into life on a sound foundation of horticultural expertise. A good proportion of my working life, from age 16, spent developing a successful career in a traditional office-style working life. A good amount of experience, it in the end prompted my looking towards a more fulfilling career in working life. I studied a course that comprised a more active form of working and a form of working that had real, life-changing consequences.
My entry into life in gardens was a life-changing one. It hit me that I had a real, instantaneous interest in the trade, from cutting hedges and servicing lawnmowers to pruning trees and clearing an average-sized garden. Seeing that natural talent, I went on to receive formal training and on to obtain my City & Guilds Level 1 and Level 2 in Horticulture.
I developed to that knowledge base an adequate amount of ground-pounding experience. I spent some years working in experienced gardening and contracting landscape businesses, eagerly gaining a broad range of techniques and fine techniques. I also established my experience as a gardener contractor working alongside experienced professionals on a broad range of jobs.
It is this hard-knock history, a mixture of formal training and adequate ground-pounding experience, that in the end brought Jackson's Garden Services into life. I am proud today to be a manager of a company providing improved garden maintenance and garden landscaping in Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole, with a determination to deliver high-class services to every client.
